Ray foundation

Ray Wind Farm is a 16 turbine onshore project situated on the Ray Estate near Kirkwhelpington in Northumberland.

Construction commenced at the end of July 2015.

The 54.4MW Ray Wind Farm is expected to generate enough power every year to meet the equivalent annual electricity demand of over 30,000 UK households.

Site mobilisation and civil engineering works: End of July 2015
Offsite grid connection works: Autumn 2015
Turbine deliveries expected to begin: Summer 2016
Construction complete and wind farm fully operational: Early 2017
